Video shows armed robbery of Fort Myers pizza shop

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Police have released footage of an armed robbery of a Little Caesar's restaurant from earlier this month.

The Fort Myers Police Department hopes somebody can help identify the two males seen in the video.

Police say that on Friday, August 5th at approximately 10:17 p.m., two armed men entered the Little Caesar’s Pizza restaurant in the 3900 block of Palm Beach Boulevard wearing ski masks and camouflage clothing.  Both males were armed with a firearm.  An undisclosed amount of money was taken during the robbery.

The entire incident was captured on video.

The Fort Myers Police Department is asking for anyone who may know the identity of either of the pictured suspects to contact Detective Jose Gomez at (239) 321-8018, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS or text message C-R-I-M-E-S (274637) Keyword FMPD. Tipsters can remain anonymous.

A very similar armed robbery took place two weeks later at another pizza restaurant on Palm Beach Boulevard. It's unclear so far if the two robberies are related.
