LEE COUNTY, Fla.-- There's a new social media challenge floating around online, it's called the #SWFL Challenge. The goal is to show everyone that despite the water quality concerns, Southwest Florida is still as beautiful as ever.
Whether you are enjoying a local restaurant, or at your favorite nature spot use #SWFLChallenge. Three events have been scheduled to inspire residents and encourage visitors to play, stay, dine and shop.
- September 1st-3rd: Sanibel and Captiva Islands
- September 8th-9th: Fort Myers Beach
- September 15th-16th: Naples
