LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Florida Fish and Wildlife issued their mid-week red tide report Wednesday, and it shows ongoing ride tide from Bonita Springs up to St. Petersburg Beach.

For the most part, red tide has cleared out of Collier County, with tests showing it not present this month.

In Lee County, the latest test results show the southernmost point of the red tide near Big Carlos Pass and Lover's Key, with 'low' concentrations.  However, 'high' concentrations persist near Coon Key and Lighthouse Beach.

In Charlotte County, test results show 'not present' at some locations, but a 'high' concentration was found at Englewood Beach.

A bloom was also observed in Northwest Florida this week as well.
