LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- The City of Fort Myers will consider declaring a state of emergency Monday, because of the water crisis.
City council members will debate a plan Monday afternoon.
Lee County is already under a state of emergency, and Governor Rick Scott has also declared a state of emergency due to red tide for seven coastal counties along the west coast of Florida.
Charlotte County declared a local state of emergency last week.
The Fort Myers meeting starts at 4:30 p.m.
