CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Experts with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be in Cape Coral on Tuesday to discuss Lake Okeechobee water releases.

The City of Cape Coral invited Corps officials to join in an informational meeting.

They will meet at 12:30 p.m. in the ballroom at the Cape Coral Yacht Club (5819 Driftwood Parkway).

The Corps has been releasing water from the lake into the Caloosahatchee and St. Lucie rivers off and on since the beginning of June.
