FORT MYERS, Fla. -- In a show of solidarity this week, the Southwest Florida Community Foundation has partnered with the City of Fort Myers, and the United Way to open the "Together Fort Myers Fund."
Its goal is to help the victims, families, and those affected by the deadly shootings at Club Blu early Monday morning, which left two teens dead and more than a dozen others injured.
All funds donated will be used to provide support services to those affected.
Contributions can be made right now by visiting FloridaCommunity.com.
Meanwhile, the Florida Attorney General's Office announced Monday that they are helping with medical costs for victims. "We are here today, my office's function is to help family members of the 2 young men who lost their lives. We will be able to help them pay for funeral expenses," said Pam Bondi at a press conference in Fort Myers.
