The lines seemed to never end. Thousands of people awaited the arrival of Donald Trump at Robarts Arena in Sarasota.
An elephant called "Trump" walking down the street of the arena as supporters from all over the country were anticipating the man of the hour to arrive.
Some supporters who have been waiting since early hours of the morning to get in tell Fox 4 they believe he's the answer to America's problem.
"He's going to make America great again," Sue Wagler said. "If he can run a business, I'm sure he can run a country."
Other supporters say Trump will help improve the lives of veterans.
"I've served more than 9 years," a supporter said. "Immigrants get more than veterans do. Something needs to change."
Trump may have thousands of supports filling the seats of Robart Arena but many are having to walk past postestors chanting "Dump Trump" standing in the perimeter of the arena.
"I'm against his policies and all his criticisms and message of hatred towards muslims and other immigrants," A protestor said. "His message of hatred has really made it difficult and a dangerous place to live for many working families."
