LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- The student arrested for allegedly recording a bathroom sex incident at South Fort Myers High School will spend the rest of the school year at home.
The 16-year-old will spend the next 21 days under home supervision after pleading not guilty over the weekend to three charges: cruelty toward a child, allowing a child to engage in a sex act, and possessing obscene material.
Meanwhile, a judge has since banned him from contacting the victim or using electronics, unless needed for school. He also can't have any unsupervised contact with anyone under the age of 15.
Police say several boys had sex with a 15-year-old student in the school bathroom. In all, 16 students were disciplined. But only one is facing charges.
