LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Investigators have identified the man they say shot and injured a tow truck driver after a confrontation Monday evening.
Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers say they are looking for 21-year-old Lester Bermudez Lozada, who they say should be considered violent and dangerous.
Detectives say that on Monday evening, Bermudez Lozada approached a tow truck driver he believed was blocking a driveway. After a short argument, he reportedly pulled a gun and shot the tow truck driver before fleeing in a silver Nissan.
Since then, Crime Stoppers tips identified Bermudez Lozada as the shooter. He is known to frequent the Lehigh Acres area, as well as the Daniels Parkway/Treeline Avenue neighborhood.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Bermudez Lozada is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
