ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - A woman in Florida who called 911 saying she had been kidnapped and was in the trunk of her car was found dead in the vehicle by deputies a short time later.

Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings said at a news conference that 25-year-old Jasmine Samuel called 911 early Thursday to report that she had been forced into the trunk of her car.

Based on her account, deputies were able to locate the area where she'd been kidnapped and started searching for her in an industrial area of south Orlando.

She was found dead from a gunshot wound in her car about an hour and a half later.

Demings says authorities are searching for Samuel's former boyfriend, and detectives say her death was part of a domestic dispute.
