Video shows an Ocoee police officer slamming right into another car, injuring the driver.
The Florida Highway Patrol cited officer Chris Bonner for not obeying traffic laws.
The crash happened last Tuesday just before 5 in the morning.
Ocoee police said the officer was involved in a pursuit with two armed robbery suspects out of Altamonte Springs.
Records show the chase reached speeds of 90 miles per hour. The lead car in the chase can be seen in the video slowing down at the intersection.
The driver of the car and the officer both survived, but with serious injuries. The driver, Yahaira Castro Montalvo, injured both arms and may sue the department.
