ORLANDO, Fla. -- A University of Central Florida student is facing rape charges after authorities say he raped someone at an on-campus fraternity party on July 22nd.

They say it happened at an event hosted by Alpha Tau Omega. Alexander Garces, a member of the fraternity, took the victim upstairs to a bedroom. Another man then locked the door, and Graces began to sexually touch the victim.

Alpha Tau Omega says they've suspended Graces and are conducting an internal investigation. They say the university also approved the party, which was "in accordance with strict university guidelines."
