EVERGLADES, Fla. — A trapper is showing off a massive catch.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission posted on Facebook Tuesday that an 18-foot Burmese python was caught in the Everglades.

A trapper captured the snake in the Francis S. Taylor Wildlife Management Area.

FWC said that during cooler months, people are more likely to see pythons during the day.

You can report python sightings to the Exotic Species Hotline at 1-888-IVE-GOT1.
