LEESBURG, Fla. — Authorities say a Florida man fatally shot a neighbor who had recently moved next door after the two had an argument.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said Saturday in a news release that 61-year-old Scott Curtiss Rudolph was arrested on a first-degree murder charge in the killing of Jerry Michael Stewart, also 61.

The Orlando Sentinel reports that Stewart’s wife told deputies the couple had moved into the mobile home park about three weeks ago.

It was not clear what the argument was about. Rudolph was jailed Saturday without bail. It wasn’t clear if he had a lawyer.
