JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- From the football field to Congress? The Washington Times says that rumors are swirling that former Florida Gator Tim Tebow may want to get into politics.
The rumors are fueled by the sudden retirement of GOP Congressman Andre Crewnshaw, who represents the Jacksonville area. And that happens to be where Tebow lives.
Two weeks ago, the college football star said during an interview that the idea of entering politics is "intriguing."
The deadline for entering the August 30th primary is June 24th.
