SARASOTA, Fla. -- A Sarasota County judge is denying a sentence-reduction request on behalf of Kristen Bury, the mother of Baby Chance Walsh, who was murdered back in September.
Bury was sentenced to 25-years in prison in exchange for testimony against her husband, Joseph Walsh, who's awaiting trial over his alleged role in Chance's death.
Bury, however, recently requested 10 years in prison, followed by one year in a treatment center, two years in community control, and two more years of probation.
Prosecutors say the she and Joseph Walsh, buried chance in a wooded area in North Port after he was beaten to death.
