LAKELAND, Fla. (AP) - Police in central Florida say they're looking for two people whose dog killed a swan earlier this month.

The Ledger (http://goo.gl/DTsepC ) reports that witnesses told Lakeland police that a gray pit bull with a blue nose attacked and killed a black nesting swan near Lake Morton on Dec. 7. The two suspects then fled south with the dog.

Police described the suspects as a white male and a Hispanic female, both in their 20s.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 800-226-8477.
