Playground fire in Sarasota considered intentional

SARASOTA, Fla. -- Police are looking for suspects in a playground fire that broke out in Sarasota Monday night.

According to Sarasota Police, the fire started around 9 p.m. at Pioneer Park on Cocoanut Avenue, just north of downtown Sarasota.

Fire crews responded and extinguished the fire in minutes. They determined that the fire was set intentionally and have classified it as "malicious mischief".
