HENDRY COUNTY, Fla. — A person of interest in the murder of a Hendry County transgender woman has been arrested for a separate incident. Jamson Richemond was arrested yesterday in Palm Beach County after detectives obtained a warrant.
Richemond was seen entering a vehicle in belle glade when the Palm Beach Sheriff's office street crimes unit conducted a traffic stop and took him into custody.
Richemond is facing one charge of tampering or threatening a witness in the murder investigation related to Jamal Hubert's homicide. Hubert's body was found in a shallow canal in palm beach county in June of this year.
Deputies also served Eddie Leon Redd junior with an arrest warrant also related to Hubert's murder. He faces the same charge as Richemond.
