ORMOND BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a central Florida man was drunk and transporting three children when he crashed his vehicle.
The Daytona Beach News-Journal (http://goo.gl/dm36J5 ) reports that 57-year-old Kenneth Mote got into a crash Saturday evening. Ormond Beach police report that officers discovered three children, ages 14, 12 and 3, in the wrecked vehicle.
Breath tests showed Mote's blood alcohol level to be 0.204 and 0.206 percent. Florida law considers a driver impaired at 0.08 percent.
Mote was charged with DUI causing damage to personal property and three counts of child neglect. He was later released on $10,000 bail. Jail records didn't list an attorney.
