The poll surveyed 1,279 Florida voters and had a margin of 3.3 percentage points, including the design effect.

54% of Sunshine State voters say they are better off financially today than 2016, however Trump holds a 44% approval rating and 51% disapproval rating in the state.
62% of voters in the state say Congress should NOT begin the process to impeach Trump, though Democrats and black voters were in favor of impeachment.
In an early look at the 2020 race, former Vice President Joe Biden leads President Trump 50-41 percent. Senator Bernie Sanders leads President Trump 48-42 percent.
However, according to the poll, Biden has a commanding lead over the Democratic field.
The poll found 41% of registered Democrats in Florida prefer Joe Biden, with Bernie Sanders the next closest at 14% and Elizabeth Warren in third at 12%.
The survey includes 417 registered Democrats with a margin of error of +/- 5.8 percentage points, including the design effect.
“Florida Republicans have won the last five major statewide elections, all by very close margins, but Sunshine State Democrats see these very early numbers as a sign that their losing streak might be coming to an end,” said Peter Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.
