TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Governor Ron DeSantis announced his "Framework for Freedom" budget for the fiscal year 2023-24 today in Tallahassee.
Governor DeSantis says his Framework for Freedom Budget for Fiscal Year 2023-24 totals $114.8 billion and continues his commitment to Florida’s K 12 students, parents and teachers, environmental resources, and law enforcement, all while maintaining healthy reserves, including $6.9 billion in General Revenue.
In the total $114.8 billion, the General Revenue portion is $42.4 billion.
He says Florida’s total reserves are $15.7 billion, 13.7 percent of the total budget for the fiscal year, which he believes is leave resources for any unforeseen circumstances.
