JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The search continues for the 5-year-old Florida girl at the center of an Amber Alert Thursday evening.

Earlier in the week, an Amber Alert was issued for Taylor Williams, who was last seen near the 600 block of Ivy Street in Jacksonville.

On Thursday, Jacksonville Sheriff Mike Williams said Taylor's mother, Brianna Williams, is no longer cooperating with deputies in the search for her missing daughter. Brianna Williams was the last person to see Taylor alive, police said.

Sheriff Williams said the mother stopped cooperating Wednesday after deputies spoke with her about some inconsistencies in her story.

Brianna Williams is not with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office and has not been arrested as of Thursday evening.

Deputies say anyone who has seen Taylor with her mother in the last six months is asked to call 904-630-0500.
