Soon you could be allowed to shoot off your own fireworks at least on three major holidays.
Lawmakers are sending a bill allowing you to shoot off fireworks on New Year's Eve, New Year’s Day and the Fourth of July to the governor.
City laws would still apply.
The senator behind it says this eliminates the need for people to lie on forms agreeing to use the firecrackers for scaring birds.
