JUPITER, Fla. (AP) - A diver was pronounced dead after being pulled from the water four miles off the coast of Jupiter.
The Palm Beach Post reports (http://pbpo.st/2gHd1PY) the man was pulled from the water Thursday morning by a Sea Tow employee and Jupiter officers began life-saving measures on the boat.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said he was taken to a nearby park where emergency responders tried to resuscitate him, then took him to a hospital.
Officials said he was pronounced dead at 11:18 a.m.
An investigation showed the diver had gotten sick and began to struggle once he entered the water.
