ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Authorities are searching for two suspects who they say pistol-whipped a pregnant employee inside an Orange County IHOP restaurant.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office said in a news release that surveillance video shows two men with guns entering the restaurant early Monday, where they demanded cash, but there was no active register.
The suspects disappear off camera and that's when deputies say they pistol-whipped the pregnant employee and took her wallet and cellphone.
The victim was treated for a minor head wound.
Deputies said the accused robbers are between the ages of 18 and 25. One man was wearing all black and carrying a black semi-automatic weapon. The second man carried a silver revolver and was wearing a black hoodie covered in white skull drawings.
