UPDATE -- The Skyway Bridge has been reopened to all traffic.
Fast wind speeds has caused Skyway Bridge to close.
In a Media Alert sent out by Florida Highway Patrol:
" With winds now averaging 43-52, the Skyway Bridge is now CLOSED to ALL traffic."
