FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Police have responded to a shooting incident in the Dunbar area of Fort Myers.
It reportedly happened around 2:48pm in the 2200 block of Towles Street, about a block from Dunbar High School, and resulted in two men being shot.
School had already been dismissed for the day, but according to the Lee County School Board, remaining students and staff were asked to go back inside the school while police assessed the situation.
The men's injuries are not life-threatening.
Police are searching for silver or grey dark colored Chevy Equinox with dark tinted windows involved in shooting, seen in a surveillance image here as it fled the scene.
