COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -- Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help tracking down a Collier County man who went missing just over four months ago.
November 6, 2016 was the last day family members heard from 25-year-old Jacob “Jake” Ruddy. He informed his parents that he was going to the 24 Club off Pine Ridge Road in Naples, and was supposed to meet a friend afterwards. Ruddy, however, never showed up to meet the friend.
Prior to Ruddy going missing, he was known to be very active on social media sites, and would often communicate with family and friends, however nobody has heard from him in four months.
Ruddy is currently considered a missing endangered adult with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office. He is 6’2”, 150 pounds and has tattoos on both forearms of clovers.
“The family is hoping that someone may have seen Jake in the days or weeks following November 6,” said Trish Routte, Crime Stoppers Coordinator. “Anyone who has seen him around town at any point in time is strongly encouraged to call and help investigators retrace his steps and bring him home safely to his family.”
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jake Ruddy is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000. Tips may also be made online at www.southwestfloridacrimestoppers.com or by submitting a tip through the P3Tips mobile app.
