CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- Some residents are feeling stranded in Charlotte County after recent heavy rains. Several roads are closed where residents say their driveways are completely under water.
According to Charlotte County Public Works, the following roads are closed due to roadway flooding:
Westchester Boulevard and Swanee Road
Westchester Boulevard at Oak View Drive
Elmira Boulevard at Swanee Road
Olean Boulevard at Kings Highway
Loveland Boulevard at Suncoast Boulevard
The Public Works Department is monitoring the stormwater drainage and responding as necessary.
