CAPE CORAL, Fla. - Homeowners in Cape Coral are once again laying out their vision for what they want to see in their community.
Thirty-five acres off Burnt Store Road between Tropicana and Embers Parkway is known as "Cape Seven Islands." Residents gathered at Krista Mcauliffe Elementary Wednesday night to discuss a proposed project on the islands.
A committee unveiled 2 new designs, for a total of 5.
There will be at least two more opportunities for the public to give their feedback. The next meeting is scheduled for April 3, 2016.
