Boynton Beach police searching for hit-and-run driver

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. -- Police in Boynton Beach are looking for the driver of a silver Nissan Altima after a hit-and-run crash seriously injured a pedestrian early Saturday.

At around 2:30 a.m., a man was struck by the Nissan while crossing the 400 block of West Boynton Beach Boulevard.

The Altima fled the scene after striking the victim. The car was later found in a parking lot at 1901 N.W. First Street, according to police.

The 31-year-old victim was taken to Delray Medical Center. He remains in serious but stable condition.
