Investigation underway after St. Pete shooting leaves 21-year-old with life-threatening injuries

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Authorities are investigating a shooting in St. Petersburg that left a 21-year-old man with life-threatening injuries.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office say the shooting happened around 11:15 a.m. on Saturday at 3898 46th Avenue North.

Detectives say the shooting is not random. They believe it's drug related.

The victim was taken to the hospital. His exact condition is unknown at this time.

No arrests have been made. The investigation is on-going.
