FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Surveillance video inside a department store captured a violent purse snatching Monday.
According to Fort Myers Police, at 10:15 a.m. the police department responded to a robbery call at the Edison Mall.
The victim reported that she was walking to her vehicle that was parked by the south entrance of Dillard’s Department store, when an unknown male subject pushed her to the ground and removed her purse from her shoulder. The suspect entered into the passenger side of a waiting vehicle.
The vehicle is described as a black Pontiac with a spoiler on the rear and having dark tint.
The suspect is described as male, approximately 20-30 years of age, wearing shorts and a light colored t-shirt.
