BRADENTON, Fla. — Two orphaned manatees are getting rehabilitated at the Parker Manatee Rehabilitation Habitat in Bradenton.

Felicia and Doscal arrived at the Parker Manatee Rehabilitation Habitat at the Bishop Museum yesterday.

They are there to gain weight before returning to the wild.

Felicia was rescued from the Ruskin Inlet, along with her mother who died from a watercraft injury.

Doscal was found orphaned and emaciated in the Orange River here in Lee County back in April.

The manatees are expected to remain at the facility until winter 2021.
