CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — Tomorrow, more than two-thousand juvenile snook will be released in

Charlotte County as part of red tide recovery efforts.

Several agencies, including Mote Marine Lab and Fish and Wildlife, will release the fish at Ainger Creek in Englewood.

The snook was treated at the Mote Marine hatchery.

Researchers put a microchip in the fish so they can track them.

More than two thousand snooks have already been released as a part of

the initiative, which began back in May.
