COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — The number of Sea Turtles hatching on Collier County beaches is up from last year.
Officials are reporting 137 more nests have been counted than last year and 192 more hatches.
Unfortunately, 18 sea turtles have been disorientated.
If you live on the beach, remember to turn out your lights at night, so the hatchlings know which direction to go.
