CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — The Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) Florida will be in Charlotte County on Tuesday, Jan. 12, to release approximately 2,000 redfish.
The juvenile fish, approximately 8-12 inches in size, will be released at 2 p.m. at Port Charlotte Beach Park, 4500 Harbor Blvd.
The release will help ensure the sustainability of the redfish population in Charlotte Harbor.
Volunteers are encouraged to participate.
