NAPLES, Fla. — The Naples Zoo has set a record for fundraising.
The 2019 Zoo Gala raised more than 1.3 million dollars, breaking the Zoo's fundraising record for a single event.
All the money will go toward expanding the Zoo's conservation programs, as well as the New South American Trail Exhibit.
The Zoo hopes to get a breeding pair of endangered Jaguars as part of the exhibit.
