SANIBEL, Fla. — A viewer sent in a pretty awesome video of what appears to be a large alligator swimming.
The video was taken by Jesse Tufano while at Bowmans Beach in Sanibel.
FWC officials remind people alligator mating season is here.
FWC also warns residents and visitors never to feed an alligator. It's not only dangerous, but it's also illegal.
Feeding them can lead the animals to overcome their natural wariness of people and teach them to associate people with food.
