LEE COUNTY, Fla. — Keep Lee County Beautiful will be hosting a beach clean up on the 5th of July.

They are asking for help to gather the fireworks and other debris that will be left behind.

Now that we are in our rainy season, it is essential to collect this trash before it has a chance to pollute our waterways.

Keep Lee County Beautiful will provide you with all of the supplies needed, you need to show up and be ready to help make a difference!

We will be meeting at two locations; the Sanibel Causeway Islands and Lynn Hall Memorial Park on Fort Myers Beach.

For the safety of everyone group sizes are being kept to no more than 50 volunteers at each site.

Volunteers of all ages are welcome, and any individual, family, school, group, place of worship, business, or government entity can participate.

The clean up will be Sunday, July 5th, 2020 from 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM.
