Keep Lee County Beautiful host virtual Earth Day events

LEE COUNTY, Fla. — Keep Lee County Beautiful will be hosting a virtual Earth Day!

Throughout the day, on April 22, 2020, they will have events taking place from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The events range from Facebook Live, Zoom calls, and Google and YouTube videos created and selected to teach you about topics concerning SWFL.

The schedule is below:

8:00 AM - Florida Wildflower Video.
9:00 AM - Ding Darling Virtual Tour.
10:00 AM - Facebook Live with Dr. Jones - The Importance of outdoor learning.
11:00 AM - Apps to identify Flowers and Plants.
12:00 PM - How to build a Super-Seed Planter Bottle.
1:00 PM - Earth Day movie suggestions.
2:00 PM - A Butterfly Story - Tips on raising Monarch butterflies in Florida.
3:00 PM - Zoom call meeting with Susie Hassett on composting.
4:00 PM - Take the Pledge!
