SARASOTA, Fla. — An injured manatee is on the mend, thanks to wildlife officials.
Wednesday, the sea cow and its uninjured calf were rescued by Charlotte County Officials, Mote Marine, and Fish and Wildlife.
The manatees were transported to Mote in Sarasota for treatment.
No word on how the manatee was injured.
