COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — High winds and surf over the weekend forced you some oceanic material to wash up on beaches in Naples.

The city says dead fish, seaweed, thousands of mollusks and clams washed ashore as a result of the weekend storms.

Crews were brought in today to clean up the fish and debris beaches.

The city says people have reported respiratory issues as a result of red tide.

The latest red tide map from Florida Fish and Wildlife shows high concentrations of red tide in Collier County and both low and medium along the coast from Charlotte to Collier Counties.
