Florida native plant advocate remembered in Southwest Florida

FORT MYERS, Fla. — A man who dedicated much of his life to protecting paradise is being remembered for his contributions.

John Sibley recently passed away after a long battle with cancer.

John was an active member of the Coccoloba Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society and also opened Lee County‘s largest Florida native plant nursery called All Native in the Page Park neighborhood of Fort Myers.

He went on to open a smaller version of All Native at theCharlotte Harbor Environmental Center in Punta Gorda.
