SOUTHWEST FLORIDA — The month of May marks the beginning of sea turtle nesting season in Southwest Florida, so 4 In Your Corner spoke with a reptile expert on what to keep in mind as they lay eggs on our beaches.

Here are some steps you can take to help protect turtles:
-Keep trash off the beach
-Knock down sand castles
-Keep condo porch lights off at night
