DeSantis doubles down on pythons that harm Florida's ecosystem

he governor says Florida is stepping up the fight to stop invasive pythons that are messing up our ecosystem.

Governor DeSantis says the is working with the federal government to get snake hunters to remote parts of Big Cypress National Preserve.

The agriculture and environmental departments have a new agreement to start hunting the snakes in 130, 000 acres of state parks.

 He's also directing Florida Fish and Wildlife and the South Florida Water Management District to research ways to eliminate pythons and to make a python challenge a yearly thing.
