SANIBEL, Fla. — In one Sanibel neighborhood, dead fish can be seen throughout a canal leaving residents concerned.
People living along Lighthouse Way say they woke up to find many dead fish in the canal.
While it's not uncommon when red-tide blooms are nearby, they hope this is as bad as it gets.
The latest red-tide map from FWC shows a medium concentration of red-tide near Lighthouse Point on Sanibel.
