COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — Today, the Blue-Green Algae Task Force held another meeting on protecting our paradise this time, in Naples.
They focused on several topics, including the health impacts of toxic algae.
The task force says they are making progress in the communication between local and state agencies and who is responsible for putting up warning signs at our beaches and waterways.
FGCU professor Mike Parsons who are on the task force, tells us there is a lot of uncertainty when it comes to testing for toxins in the water.
