COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -- Some backyard bandits created ruckus in an Immokalee neighborhood Tuesday morning.

Collier Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 600 block of 9th Street, where it turns out the mama bear and her four cubs were looking for a little breakfast.

Deputies were able to distract the bear family and get them safely back into the woods.

They remind residents that bears are often lured into communities by unsecured garbage.
